AUSNAHME + ZUSTAND – All Cores Are Broken 13.12., Leipzig

Yo, people of the Hardcore as you may have heard we will have our latest party as Ausnahmezustand next weekend on the 13.12. It was a great time, but now it’s sadly time to say goodbye. As much as we enjoyed the last 15 years, we had to pay a toll that was not only financially devastating. But screw it, we will have our final event very soon and hope to see many of you again. Let’s celebrate this lineup with us and enjoy ourselves one last time. For this special edition, we went all in and decided to do […]

Mathlovsky – Your Money Has No Power Over Me

The Belgian musical madman Mathlovsky surprised us with a brand new three-tracker on Murder Channel. “Your Money Has No Power Over Me” is a manifest of Mathlovsky’s versatility. This dubsteppish release is accordingly relatively slow, but that’s no problem at all.  It’s still deeply saturated and captures the very essence of Hardcore nicely. Due to the slower pace of the EP, it can be mixed with other styles. Or you can easily shake up a Hardcore or a Dubstep set with one of the tracks. Definitely works great both ways. It’s a release with lots of potential, same as with […]

Collected: Into The Dark Lands – Chronicles of the Pale Wanderer

When it comes to releasing the biggest and nastiest compilations ever, usually the price goes to Dark.Descent. And well, guess what, they did it again. 75 tracks, yes seventy-five, all carefully collected and selected from the last 25 releases on the label. This is clearly your chance to catch up with everything you missed recently. As it is always the case with Dark.Descent the selected tracks are as dark as it gets. Rock solid Hardcore, Techno, Doomcore, everything in between and a lot more. Since it is so much music, you really need to check it out yourself. It’s impossible […]

Scared Money Records – Signal For Jamaica

As you may have heard, Jamaica was hit severely by Hurricane Melissa. The country in the Caribbean suffers terribly and needs help. If you want to help, you can find an organization of your choice or maybe consider buying this EP from Scared Money Records. The label will donate everything to The American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ). Since it feels a bit wrong to focus on the release now, it’s definitely worth noting that the 14 tracks on this release are super good. Absolutely top notch Ragga Jungle business through and through. But yeah, as good as the release is, […]

DJBadshape – Dubcore Volume 27

So far, we only knew DJBadshape as a rough and tough DJ, but were unaware of her producing skills. Thus, we didn’t expect such a breathtaking – or maybe better floor breaking – EP. For the latest installment of the Dubcore Series, this is number 27 already, DJBadshape provided four tracks that could broadly be categorized as Jungle. The tracks show the wide range this aspiring producer is capable of. No track on this release sounds like the other, yet they all feature a specific signature sound. You can tell at all times that they are still related somehow. One […]

Dolphin & The Teknoist – Ppl Gon Bleed

There is a new Dolphin and The Teknoist EP that came out not long ago on PRSPCT. “Ppl Gon Bleed” is the absolute battle weapon for every dancefloor. Each track stands out for itself. The title track is surely a lot of fun and a bit stupid (but of course in the best way imaginable). The other two tracks are equally well crafted and also worth checking out. Both individual tracks by Dolphin and The Teknoist are crammed with Hip Hop-Hardcore aesthetics. The last tune even features Flowdan on the lyrics. Didn’t expect this! Well, now go grab your copy! […]

Adamant Scream – No Man’s Land EP

Another 3-tracker dropped recently by Adamant Scream. “No Man’s Land” is equally in your face as it is thoughtful. The EP is relatively slow, kicking off at only 130 BPM, climbs to 150 and ends at 140. While the first and the last track carry a more serious vibe, the second track with Minus 25 is a hell of a dancefloor destroyer. It’s ravey, it features stabs, of course pumping kicks, a pretty solid acid line, and a vibe that keeps you stomping at all time. Very nice collection of three distinct tracks that show again that Adamant Scream is […]

Off-Reality™ – Life of a NPC Pt. 1

Here comes another release that does not fit into our already existing genre categorizing system. “LIFE OF A NPC PT.1“ by Off-Reality on Low Res features a nightmarish ambient trip through glitching programs and dying motherboards. It’s astoundingly calm, yet it remains at any time quite threatening. The sounds are equally somehow soft but harsh at the same time. It becomes apparent that this album is a dystopic remnant of a broken future. Furthermore, it raises more questions than it can answer. While playing the album, the listener may find a good starting point at questioning our contemporary place in […]
