The most recent release by Bong-Ra represents a beautiful take on dark Jungle. The breaks are super solid and well programmed, the synths sound grim and fierce, and the overall sound design brings happiness to our dark hearts. This is not an “in-your-face” release, it’s even a bit reserved. A thoughtful approach to discover the essence of true dark Jungle Breaks. Vaseline by Bong-Ra
The latest Laxenanchaos release “Singing Breakbeats Timeless Travel With You” is a nice and short EP which can be described as an outer space breakcore EP maybe. The EP delivers a little bit of everything from very hard, to bouncy and even dreamy. Singing Breakbeats Timeless Travel With You by Laxenanchaos
It’s rare that you come across some music and think: “Wow, that’s really something else!” of course “Sustained Resistance” by Maelstrom & Louisahhh is not entirely new music, but the way this duo combines different strains of music and weaves them together into a seminal piece of art (well, it’d dare to call it that way) is simply amazing. The tracks themselves are emotionally charged amalgamations of hard electronic music. You find traces of so many different genres here – luckily, only the good ones. No seriously, it’s absolutely worth listening, especially for those of you who are looking for […]
Neurocore always had his signature sound that cannot be compared to anything else in in the Hardcore world. This wonderful exception to the rule features sonically diverse and mesmerizing sounds that will drag you away from what your everyday experiences might have to offer. The tracks are produced with great attention to detail. It’s very outer spacey, deep and thoughtful. Sometimes slow, sometimes fast, but all the time very convincing. At times it feels like a movie soundtrack with its sensitive soundscapes. A very beautiful release that stands alone in the universe with music that meanders from super silky sounds […]
Sadly, it remains unclear who produced this album. But it doesn’t matter that much. It’s all about the bass and the breaks here. Since there’s not much Drum and Basss featured on this blog, it’s great to find an album overstuffed with excellently crafted dnb slammers. The soundspheres are menacing and the bass is as low as possible. The drum breaks are also from another planet. They are hitting hard but are also sound super clean and present at the same time. The album features 12 slamming tracks and all of them are worth a listen! COVERT:TWO by Tech Itch […]
It may come as a surprise that we post such an old mix, but then on the other hand, why not? It’s a great mix by none other than Mark N himself. This mix really sums up how relentless and unforgiving hardcore was 20 years ago. There are people claiming that you can find copies of this mix lying on certain servers. I would not recommend to specifically look for them on well-known internet search engines. So anyway, it’s a great historic mix that should be played at every occasion on full blast 😊 dj.mark.n.australia · DJ Mark N […]
The latest album by Void settler “Bell, Book & Candle” came out recently on the Third Movement and is definitely one of a kind. The album feasts on so many musical traditions, but breaks and rearranges them all the time. Obviously, you find traces of hardcore and tons of distortion everywhere. But apart from that, the record also features gothic soundscapes, orchestral elements and choirs from hell. The musical structures of the tracks do not follow any conventional formula. And this is what makes the album really stand out. It’s demanding, it’s really questioning your listening habits. But it always […]
This producer mix from Indian Junglist is a total blast. High paced breakbeats, crazy fast kick drums and tons of ravey vocals make this mix a no brainer. This is must for dancefloor oriented destruction. And let’s be honest, nothing beats mashing up everything you can get your hands on. And Indian Junglist definitely delivers, no doubt! (I wish I had a cat sticker here) Also mad love for the Olive remix. _ TRACKLIST _Indian Junglist – Acid Shivers (SuckPuck Recordz)Indian Junglist – One Spliff for the Landlordy (unreleased!)Indian Junglist – Creeds – Push Up (Breakcore Edit) (self released)Indian Junglist […]

The new or more precisely first album by 10 CLS has been around for quite some time already, but there are tons of reasons to shine light on this outstanding release. The mastermind behind 10 CLS is also known to the broader public as Ophidian. And this alone should ring a bell. He is one of the most impressive electronic producers of all time and moreover always interested in creating more and more projects, diving deep and deeper into musical realms that take you farther and farther away from your genre specific comfort zone. But enough about the artist, what […]
As you may already can tell from the name of the release, Ars Dada & Dr. Roman bring Ragga Jungle to its extremes. This release on Murder Channel features 4 vocal-heavy Ragga Jungle blends that fit every set. In addition, you can get the release for free or have to pay at least 140 Yen (around 1€) to add it to your bandcamp account. Freshly Baked Raggamuffins by Ars Dada & Dr. Roman
Let’s pretend mutilated breakbeats are absolutely your thing. You also dig heavy basslines? Then this release is just made for you. Zkulptortrax & DJ Torturhythm really bring some fresh vibes to PRSPCT with this beast of a release. Don’t sleep on it before all the wav files are sold out! Hmm, maybe: “Let the kickdrums speak for themselves”. Yeah, that defintiely sums it up nicely. I don’t want to waste too many words on The Destroyer. His works need no introduction. Get prepared for musical madness in its purest form! Tracklist: S U R V I V A L · The Destroyer Live @ We Cause Violence
Pretty cool mix by Miyuki Omura. I kinda have the feeling that we will hear a lot about her in the upcoming future. Actually, you can already witness her talent here. For our 200th post we have something very special for you. Lot’s of people are crazy ingenious when it comes to mutilating breakbeats, distorting kickdrums and most importantly disturbing the peace. But even if there are many great producers out there, nobody does it like Deformer. This guy offers a whole universe of aesthetic, atheist aggression which remains unmatched. His album “See, Hear, Scream” is more than an “album”, it’s a best of and beyond. A showcase of Deformer’s musical endeavors which already have started in 1993. It’s unbelievable how much these productions stick out even when it comes to […]

At Jungle Syndicate’s latest edition, Gade System played an incredible Darkstep set. I mean there’s everything in it, basically all the classics from all your favourite artists. There is a new monthly radio show from Terror Noize Industry on Toxic Sickness. It will be aired every first Sunday of the month. It’s, as you can expect from the label, focused on hardcore in all its facets. So far, there has only one show been recorded with Guest mixes from Bassick and the Gabber aka DoublEE. Both mixes are very cool and can be definitely recommend. We are looking forward to hearing more of the show! Love Music. Hate People. #001 by DJ Bassick & The Gabber aka DoublEE You can also download the mixes from Toxic Sickness […]
It’s becoming increasingly rare that you listen to a release and think: Wow, that’s something else, but it still feels familiar. And I think this is what Slave to Society achieved here. The release sounds really fresh even though it heavily feasts on the sound of hard Drum and Bass, Jungle and Core abominations. It’s an innovative release that features not necessarily only dancefloor material, instead it offers cozy soundscapes you want to wrap around your body like a warm cover. Yeah, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. It feels unique, not just formulary as a lot of modern electronic […]
The most recent release from Marlen on Motormouth Recordz is just a neat, banging hardcore/hard techno release that is as uncompromising as it is rough. Of course, hard music gained a lot of momentum recently, but not much overcomes the generic same wannabe hard mentality. This release is again an exception to the rule. Marlen only released on Motormouth Recordz as far as I found out and all the releases sound very good. I did not hear much from this producer yet, but to me personally the sound sticks out from the average “just make it hard and pretend it’s […]
So, my lovely hardcore heads and terrible music lovers from all around the world, this blog has been officially (whatever that means) resurrected. Or to put it bluntly, we keep working on content again. Actually, the reason we initially started this blog has always been to give people an insight on cool interesting music from the darkest corners of our solar system. However, it was a lot of work and the blog was very time consuming to maintain. Even though the blog required so many resources and we didn’t manage to properly run it, we want to give it another […]
Are you aware of AUDIOTIST’s alias DEIDREAM? Yeah? Ok! But do you know who the fuck is GHOST SHIP? Nah? You’re lucky, help comes your way. After some research we could find out that GHOST SHIP actually is a joint venture between DEIDREAM and XÄCKSECKS. So this means: AUDIOTIST = DEIDREAM and DEIDREAM + XÄCKSECKS = GHOST SHOP. We hope you enjoyed the little math lesson. But back to music. This short release features some 8-Bit chiptune chaos with unique vocals and some chopped up breaks every now and then. And it’s freeeeeeeeeeee! GHOST SHOP vs DEIDREAM by Suck Puck […]
Ever heard of Sieben Stein? Well maybe you’re from Germany or a German speaking country and remember that children’s TV show with the crow, but this guy here actually is Matt Green and not a puppet. The Name should ring a bell as well as his record label Corrupt. This new Bitter 9 release on Motormouth Recordz follows a pretty raw and oldschoolish approach. And it works. No question about that. I also like the nonsense titles – or fake German compound word stuff, you know what I mean. Bitter 9 by Matt Green as Sieben Stein Btw. there’s also […]
This album by Zenith is not only one of the most remarkable in the Industrial Strength catalogue. It is without any doubt an absolut outstanding and rare piece of art. The album was originally released in 1999, however some featured tracks already appeared on an EP on ISR in 1996. And now we finally see a rerelease on the Industrial Strength bandcamp page (Actually, the album was previously also available from other stores, but we simply prefer bandcamp). All the tracks show how futuristic hardcore can be. Maybe it’s not the hardest release you’ve ever heard, but Zenith shows how […]

Here’s another remaster that’s definitely worth sharing. Originally it was produced by the French producer Mouse and released in 1998. The oldschool sound and feel is amazing + it sounds better than ever after the remastering. This is history straight blown through your eardrums! Karnage 01 [Remastered] by Mouse Btw. there’s also a vinyl version of the release which you can order here:
The Dutch produer the Relic – also known as Cubic Nomad – released just recently an amazing CD on dark.descent. You can get it on their bandcamp account for only 12.50€. Let’s face it, this is as Industrial as it can be. But this means also most of the stuff is relatively slow. If you’re into that, we have no doubt that you will dig it a lot. We do! Bunker III by The Relic
Well no question about it Fanu is not only a talented producer, he also has a good taste in mixing music.
