Another totally unexpected release comes from one of Hardcore’s finest producers out there. Ophidian currently reboots the Blackbox series which was originally released on Enzyme. This series stands for some of the most interesting hard Techno, Hardcore, Industrial crossovers you can find. Definitely consider to also listen to the original Blackbox Series, if you haven’t already!

So far there are two digital releases available (three more to come) with two tracks each. First thing you notice is the outstanding sound quality. As usual it’s so crispy clean, yet so dirty and rough. The tracks are a lot of fun, merging harder and darker electronic styles again to pretty dancefloor friendly material, despite its obvious harshness. Super catchy stuff that leaves no room for discussion. This is an absolute worthy successor to the original series that keeps the spirit alive.
