Well, talking about labels that we’ve never heard of… Iridium 77 Media or ir77 is an amazing new Australian Label that released two records so far, one by Overcast and one by Xylocaine. If you are familiar with Nasenbluten or Bloody Fist, you are aware that this means trouble. Both EPs are honestly great and totally worth every second of it.

While the Overcast record is reminiscent of 90s darkside Jungle record with fantastic atmospheres and interesting breakbeat chops, the one from Xylocaine is just a super entertaining slab of wax. The records are as rough as it gets, each from their own perspective. Definitely consider getting a copy and store them in your DJ bag for these special moments. Your audience will love it!
