There are not that many DJs that are playing in a league of their own. The kind of set Baseck and Flapjack ripped at Warp mode is just something else. Everyone who digs hardcore and scratching most likely would agree here that this shit is the shit! On 4, yes f-o-u-r, turntables they deliver a set that is unmatched in every way.

As one of the most interesting contemporary hardcore heads out there Starving Insect kills it every time. Even a black hole shines bright in comparison to this guy’s selections. Even though he has been around for quite a while, especially recently Krytikas’s tracks and mixes had a lot of impact. The most recent recording from a party is no exception. This mix reminds me of some good old hardcore drum and bass parties. The sound and the tracklist are great, hard and in your face, but not too much for the dancing crowd to bear. Right before the year ends, the Dekmantel Mix from the DJ Producer came out. And as with every DJ Producer mix this really defines new standards. The next mix is really fallen out of time. Well, literally… It is a recording of a DJ Scud set from 2018 and seriously breathtaking. You’ll have a hard time finding anything that compares to this.
