As you may already can tell from the name of the release, Ars Dada & Dr. Roman bring Ragga Jungle to its extremes. This release on Murder Channel features 4 vocal-heavy Ragga Jungle blends that fit every set. In addition, you can get the release for free or have to pay at least 140 Yen (around 1€) to add it to your bandcamp account. Freshly Baked Raggamuffins by Ars Dada & Dr. Roman
Let’s pretend mutilated breakbeats are absolutely your thing. You also dig heavy basslines? Then this release is just made for you. Zkulptortrax & DJ Torturhythm really bring some fresh vibes to PRSPCT with this beast of a release. Don’t sleep on it before all the wav files are sold out! WE ARE ALIVE by ZKULPTORTRAX & DJ TORTURHYTHM
For our 200th post we have something very special for you. Lot’s of people are crazy ingenious when it comes to mutilating breakbeats, distorting kickdrums and most importantly disturbing the peace. But even if there are many great producers out there, nobody does it like Deformer. This guy offers a whole universe of aesthetic, atheist aggression which remains unmatched. His album “See, Hear, Scream” is more than an “album”, it’s a best of and beyond. A showcase of Deformer’s musical endeavors which already have started in 1993. It’s unbelievable how much these productions stick out even when it comes to […]
It’s becoming increasingly rare that you listen to a release and think: Wow, that’s something else, but it still feels familiar. And I think this is what Slave to Society achieved here. The release sounds really fresh even though it heavily feasts on the sound of hard Drum and Bass, Jungle and Core abominations. It’s an innovative release that features not necessarily only dancefloor material, instead it offers cozy soundscapes you want to wrap around your body like a warm cover. Yeah, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. It feels unique, not just formulary as a lot of modern electronic […]
The most recent release from Marlen on Motormouth Recordz is just a neat, banging hardcore/hard techno release that is as uncompromising as it is rough. Of course, hard music gained a lot of momentum recently, but not much overcomes the generic same wannabe hard mentality. This release is again an exception to the rule. Marlen only released on Motormouth Recordz as far as I found out and all the releases sound very good. I did not hear much from this producer yet, but to me personally the sound sticks out from the average “just make it hard and pretend it’s […]
Are you aware of AUDIOTIST’s alias DEIDREAM? Yeah? Ok! But do you know who the fuck is GHOST SHIP? Nah? You’re lucky, help comes your way. After some research we could find out that GHOST SHIP actually is a joint venture between DEIDREAM and XÄCKSECKS. So this means: AUDIOTIST = DEIDREAM and DEIDREAM + XÄCKSECKS = GHOST SHOP. We hope you enjoyed the little math lesson. But back to music. This short release features some 8-Bit chiptune chaos with unique vocals and some chopped up breaks every now and then. And it’s freeeeeeeeeeee! GHOST SHOP vs DEIDREAM by Suck Puck […]
Ever heard of Sieben Stein? Well maybe you’re from Germany or a German speaking country and remember that children’s TV show with the crow, but this guy here actually is Matt Green and not a puppet. The Name should ring a bell as well as his record label Corrupt. This new Bitter 9 release on Motormouth Recordz follows a pretty raw and oldschoolish approach. And it works. No question about that. I also like the nonsense titles – or fake German compound word stuff, you know what I mean. Bitter 9 by Matt Green as Sieben Stein Btw. there’s also […]
This album by Zenith is not only one of the most remarkable in the Industrial Strength catalogue. It is without any doubt an absolut outstanding and rare piece of art. The album was originally released in 1999, however some featured tracks already appeared on an EP on ISR in 1996. And now we finally see a rerelease on the Industrial Strength bandcamp page (Actually, the album was previously also available from other stores, but we simply prefer bandcamp). All the tracks show how futuristic hardcore can be. Maybe it’s not the hardest release you’ve ever heard, but Zenith shows how […]
Here’s another remaster that’s definitely worth sharing. Originally it was produced by the French producer Mouse and released in 1998. The oldschool sound and feel is amazing + it sounds better than ever after the remastering. This is history straight blown through your eardrums! Karnage 01 [Remastered] by Mouse Btw. there’s also a vinyl version of the release which you can order here:
The Dutch produer the Relic – also known as Cubic Nomad – released just recently an amazing CD on dark.descent. You can get it on their bandcamp account for only 12.50€. Let’s face it, this is as Industrial as it can be. But this means also most of the stuff is relatively slow. If you’re into that, we have no doubt that you will dig it a lot. We do! Bunker III by The Relic
Since you’re all familiar with the Polish producer I:Gor, he needs no further introduction, I guess. So anyhow, this guy remastered some of his older releases and they sound ace! You find some real Hardcore classics previously released on Labels such as Agnost1k Records, Strike Records or Clash Records. Also, some of these releases were vinyl only so far. There are 2 volumes available with 16 tracks each for just 11.50€ which is absolutely amazing for this amount of unique music. Btw. there’s also a recent release from Kielce Terror Squad. It can also be found on I:Gor’s bandcamp account, […]
The Dresden based Crew Bloody Feet released a few weeks ago a large Compilation with artists they have worked with so far. The tracks featured are mostly related to Jungle and Drum and Bass. However, there’s also a little bit of Hard- and Breakcore stuff on it. Also the Compilation ist for free so don’t hesitate to see what they have to offer. I bet they’d be also happy to see you sending them a few bucks. 1. Istari Lasterfahrer – Burn This 04:08 2. ashtar DXD – A Breath Of Death 02:58 3. Paluca – Man´s Rage 05:18 4. […]
Even though the title suggests a quite recent release, the record was already released in 2006 and has been now remastered. It’s finally available digitally and features Industrial Hardcore legends such as Ophidian or The Outside Agency. Of course on this compilation there are way more amazing artists and we can definitely recommend to check all the tracks on here. From pretty straight forward kick warfare to experimental soundscapes, you can get a full blast of artistic core music. The rereleased album can be bought for 9.50 € from the Meta4 bandcamp page. Global Pandemic by Meta4
We don’t want to go into detail, because it would simply take too long to write about all the amazing artists and tracks on this release. Better take some time on your own and listen through the tracklist and see what fitsyour taste. All jungle and amen fanatics will most probably enjoy this release a lot! 1. Antares – Messages 05:10 2. Jah Bliddie – Jah Jah 06:46 3. Zebedee – Red Earth 05:49 4. Abstract Drumz – Cyberpunk Dystopia ( Jesta Remix ) 05:57 5. Jack Rapture – Alien Sound 07:13 6. Grab your free album today! Harsh commodore sounds and chopped breakbeats never sounded better. This album definitely is something unsual and worth checking out! df0:BAD – Absolete by df0:BAD
Here’s a nice Jungle compilation I found lately. Our good friend D.I.S is also featured on the release with a choone. The compilation is also for free (of course the label would be super happy to see some donations I assume). Default – Rhythm,Music Duburban – Juggernaut Jonny 5 – The World Veak – Killa Sound Movado – Progress (D.I.S Remix) Stereo Nuttah – DredBox Tropmanga & Bman – Soundclown Sunjah – Pleasure Rez – Rood Boi
Since we are already in the depths of slowish hardcore, we can stick to it for a while. This album from Low Entropy on Viral Conspiracy Records is also available for free, so there’s no excuse to not click the play button. The album takes you on a retro journey through core. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
It’s not surprising that Therapy Sessions Recordings delivers quality darkness with the latest Triple Sickz album. The eerie vibes on the release are to be found in every single track. In addition to mutilated breaks, ravy staby and dark pads you have some refreshing vocals. All together this helps to create an amazing atmosphere! Tracklist: 1. Intro 00:59 2. The Devil’s Bitch 06:39 3. Microdose 05:56 4. Burn All Vermin 06:07 5. Breed Crosser 05:32 6. Bitcrusher 06:12 7. Lab Waste 06:17 8. King of Hell (with Fortitude) 05:30 9. Hostage belongs to the best active drum and bass producers. Even though I didn’t hear much from him leately this album is freaking amazing. I’m really into his dark and moody vibes. A must buy for every dark raver 🙂 Tracklist: 1. Hostage – Queen Maggot 04:01 2. Hostage – Walk Me 05:07 3. Hostage – Life 05:51 4. Hostage – Chimera 05:51 5. Hostage – Blind Cure 06:57 6. Right in time for our next event Indian Junglist comes up with a super solid four tracker on the Japanese Label Otherman Records. Indian Junglist – Infravision Vitamin 2. Indian Junglist – The Sartyr’s Little Pleasures 3. Indian Junglist – Muscle Slice Hustle 4. Indian Junglist – Emotional Desert Btw. you can grab the EP for free 🙂
To describe this piece of art, it’s enough to say that it’s simply beautiful. The dense drum programming, the daunting pads, as well as the well thought through arrangements make this album outstanding. 1. DRONE SCAN 1 03:44 2. MFOS 05:11 3. AGONY 04:48 4. BRIGHTER DAYS 05:34 5. DRONE SCAN 2 03:58 6. LOST CONNECTION 04:28 7. SNAKE SKIN 04:04 8. DRONE SCAN 3 03:52 9. SERPENT 05:18 10. RUBY EYES 04:40 11. DRONE SCAN 4 03:04 12. THE TRIENGLE 06:35 13. WHEN LIFE ENDS 05:18 14. DRONE SCAN 5 04:07 LOST CONNECTION by DOOM POETS
Honestly, I also still don’t know what the title is referring to. Anyway, I guess that is not of importance here. What’s in the spotlight, is the amazing music on this compilation. The Third Movement is without a doubt one of the best known hardcore labels around. From mainstream hardcore to industrial they have a little bit of everything in the discography. For this compilation they brought together some of their most promising talents, such as Promo, Dither or Igneon System, just to name a few. The very different tracks on this compilation have at least one thing in common: […]
The infamous DJ Producer delivers some uncompromising hardcore in Future Incognitothat will leave you speechless. His album contains 15 tracks and features a shitload of distorted kickdrums and hypnotic rhythms. His signature sound can be enjoyed here in all of its facets. For only 10 bucks you get one of the – if not the – most anticipated albums this year! From about 150 to 190 BPM you should find something that pleases your eardrums! Tracklist: 01. Killing Time 02. Cautionary Tales 03. Reference Points 04. Four Twenty Seven 05. The Path of Self-Realisation 06. The Sound of a … […]
Wow, this is what I call a full length album. Corner appears to be a mastermind when it comes to creating dark soundspheres. Human – Machine is as daunting as it is haunting. Hypnotic rhythms feed this claustrophobic journey through darkness. Even though it might appear to some of our readers as a bit too slow, you soon learn to love it! There’s a lot to discover on this album. Better do this on your own. So sit back and relax! For already 10 bucks you can get this album from Dark.Descent. A label which is well known for their […]
It’s already a few months out there but still worth listening. The latest Album by KRTM on the infamous PRSPCT label is an outstanding piece of art. This is the epitome of hard Techno, in my personal opinion. KRTM succeeds in bringing eeriness and flow together like no other. From slow to a little bit faster and from straight to broken. However, if you bought tracks by KRTM so far you might have some of the tracks from the album already in your discography, since some were previously released on Madback Records. But if you didn’t there’s no excuse to […]
It’s been a while since the last LP we posted here. This album is from the russian drum and bass/crossbreed producer Syrinx. If you have been listening to this kind of music, you should be familiar with him and his style. The album came out in June on the american Label Mindocracy Recordings from Austin, Texas. The LP is a quite accurate depiction of the styles he produces. From annoying (sorry to say that) and screechy crossbreed to punishing drum and bass and even some core, there’s a little bit of everything on this LP. The versatality itself makes the […]
Wow, why does everything always take so long? I can’t tell you. But on the bright side, I can tell you that you can buy one of the nicest albums in a while. There hasn’t been a review in ages, anyhow, I’ll try to do one for you again. This time, we enter the realms of real Hardcore. Do you really think we’re kidding? Nah… Believe this album will blow your mind, if you like straight Hardcore. N-Vitral is the monster behind the superb album “Louder than a Bomb”. It contains 22 Tracks which focus mainly on Hardcore and nothing […]
Here’s another mix by Cooh again. This one is luckily even harder than the last one I posted. It’s a chronological mix of the latest Future Sickness Release. They released a 10 years best of compilation with a shitload of great tracks. From darkstep and blasting drum and bass up to crossbreed. There, you’ll find some of the greatest dancefloor killers of the last 10 years. I can highly recommend the release to everybody who hasn’t already purchased the tracks. Back to the topic, the mix is surely fabulous. Firstly it’s mixed by Cooh and therefore the mixing is top […]
I have to admit, there is not that much breakcore on the blog. Maybe I can provide a remedy with the latest Breakcore Gives Me Wood compilation. Grab a shitload of crappy music for free or donate some cash if you like to do so. On Bandcamp you can download the whole compilation in any format you prefer. All of you amen warriors get it while it’s hot! http://breakcoregivesmewood.bandcamp.com/releases
Now, this seems to be the first regular entry for the album section. Let’s see how it works out. I thought it might be nice to give you at first some general information about the artist and the album itself. Further I’d like to pick out certain tracks of which I think are especially worth mentioning. Of course, It’s always questionable what tracks will be chosen. Everyone’s taste is different, and that’s a good thing. So maybe others would chose complete different tracks. Best thing is in every case to simply listen to the whole album, then you’ll see which […]
