Here’s another remaster that’s definitely worth sharing. Originally it was produced by the French producer Mouse and released in 1998. The oldschool sound and feel is amazing + it sounds better than ever after the remastering. This is history straight blown through your eardrums! The Dutch produer the Relic – also known as Cubic Nomad – released just recently an amazing CD on dark.descent. You can get it on their bandcamp account for only 12.50€. Let’s face it, this is as Industrial as it can be. But this means also most of the stuff is relatively slow. If you’re into that, we have no doubt that you will dig it a lot. We do! The Dresden based Crew Bloody Feet released a few weeks ago a large Compilation with artists they have worked with so far. The tracks featured are mostly related to Jungle and Drum and Bass. Even though the title suggests a quite recent release, the record was already released in 2006 and has been now remastered. It’s finally available digitally and features Industrial Hardcore legends such as Ophidian or The Outside Agency. Of course on this compilation there are way more amazing artists and we can definitely recommend to check all the tracks on here. The Japanese Artist Laxenanchaos released with Radical Boombox a pretty impressive and highly diverse release on Suck Puck Recordz. It’s impossible to describe the album with only one genre, according to the label it features “14 tunes in IDM, Acidcore, Footwork, Jungle, Breakcore, Juke, Experimental styles”. I am very sorry to say this, but I’m highly unqualified to explain what’s going on here. It’s hard to find proper genre names, since everything’s mutilated to the fullest. All 4 sets are very different, but have noise as their common ground. It’s maybe something between bouncy beats, experimental hardcore, breakbeats and noise?!!?!

Great to see her playing a wicked set! Always loved her mixing. If you feel the same, better check out her Period Sessions series, too. Angel’s mixes feature in general more or less everything from techno to hardcore. This one kicks off with rough industrial and ends with fast harcore. I think we don’t promote enough techno here. But from time to time, you deserve a fine selection of neat techno sets. Especially then when they are so close to hardcore as this monster here! Actually I don’t know if this set would be considered to be techno. I’m not familiar enough with the genre boundaries to define what is and what’s not.

Since we are already in the depths of slowish hardcore, we can stick to it for a while. This album from Low Entropy on Viral Conspiracy Records is also available for free, so there’s no excuse to not click the play button. The album takes you on a retro journey through core. Have fun and enjoy the ride.
